Jordan RAMILOWSKI, PhD (YCU)

Lecturer Profile

Dr Jordan RAMILOWSKI (ジョーダン・ラミロフスキー), PhD is a Bioinformatics Associate Professor at the Advanced Medical Research Center at Yokohama City University (YCU) and a Visiting Scientist at RIKEN Yokohama. His research focuses mainly on understanding regulatory roles of long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) in immune cell differentiation and on cell–cell communication. He uses a variety of computational tools and methods (nf-core pipelines, R statistical software, Python, etc.) to analyze multiomics NGS (Next Generation Sequencing) data.

In his lecture, Dr RAMILOWSKI will talk about regulatory roles of long-noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs). Please see the lecture abstract.

Additionally to giving the lecture, Jordan will be the Instructor for this Course.
