2. 05/19/2025 R Project Setup and Introduction to R Packages Create an R Project in RStudio for reproducible data analysis and learn about R packages.
3. 06/02/2025 Basic Data Analysis Workflows in R Understand and practice main steps required to analyze data in R.
4. 06/09/2025 Biological Data Visualization Plot biological data using the ggpubr and ggplot2 R packages.
5. 06/23/2025 Gene Expression Data & Annotations Perform basic expression data normalization and annotation using Biomart.
6. 06/30/2025 Differential Gene Expression Analysis Learn how to perform differential gene expression (DGE) analysis with DESeq2.
7. 07/07/2025 Gene Pathway Enrichment Analysis Conduct gene pathway enrichment analysis using the fgsea package.
8. 07/14/2025 Basics of Single Cell RNA-seq Data Analysis Practice the basic scRNA-seq workflow using Seurat v5.

1. 01/26/2026 Special Bioinformatics Course Introduction and Software Preparation Introduce the course and install R, RStudio, and other required softwares.
2. 02/02/2026 Introduction to Cancer Genomics & scRNA-seq Data Preparation Give an overview of Cancer Genomics & Single Cell Research and it will introduce single-cell RNA-seq Data Analysis in Seurat.
3. 02/09/2026 scRNA-seq Data Clustering & ​Cell Type Identification Apply of the first lecture but using an integrated Seurat Object of the samples used in a real-world example.
4. 02/16/2026 Trajectory Analysis & Cell-Cell Communication in scRNA-seq Data Perform Trajectory, Differential Expression, and Gene Set Variation Analyes between/among clusters.
5. 02/24/2026 Result Validation at Tissue-level using TCGA Public Resource Validate the results from scRNA-seq data analysis using TCGA gastric adenocarcinoma bulk dataset.
