Abstract | セミナー概要

Reproducible computations are essential tools for addressing the “replication crisis” in science. They also provide the foundation for a well-organized research ecosystem, empowering scientists and students to share tools and methods. In this lecture, I will guide you through the use of software containers and community-managed pipelines for reproducible bioinformatics. After providing an overview of their history and the methods for building and deploying them, I will present a concrete example of how to run bioinformatics workflows developed for the Nextflow platform by the nf-core community:https://nf-co.re/pipelines. With this lecture I aim to empower you to run standardised and reproducible workflows for your own research.
