1. 05/11/2026 Course Overview & R/RStudio Installation Introduce the course and install R, RStudio, and other required software.
2. 05/18/2026 R Project Setup and Intro to R Packages Create a reproducible analysis environment with RStudio Project and R packages.
3. 06/01/2026 Basic Data Analysis Workflows in R Understand and practice main steps required to analyze data in R.
4. 06/08/2026 Biological Data Visualization Plot biological data using the ggpubr and ggplot2 R packages.
5. 06/22/2026 Gene Expression Data & Annotations Learn to annotate and normalize expression data with Biomart.
6. 06/29/2026 Differential Gene Expression Analysis Perform differential gene expression (DGE) analysis with DESeq2.
7. 07/13/2026 Gene Pathway Enrichment Analysis Conduct gene pathway enrichment analysis using the fgsea package.
8. 07/27/2026 Basics of Single Cell RNA-seq Data Analysis Practice the basic scRNA-seq workflow using Seurat v5.
On-demand: 1-2 days after each Zoom lecture - available until March 2027.
