Abstract | セミナー概要

Language: English

Single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) has revolutionised our understanding of cellular heterogeneity, enabling researchers to profile gene expression in individual cells rather than cell populations. This presentation provides an introduction to scRNA-seq technology and analysis workflows, following current best practices from the single-cell genomics community. In contrast to scRNA-seq technology, methods for single-cell spatial transcriptomics, enable concurrent detection of the transcriptomic profile of cells within their spatial context. Spatial transcriptomics methods can be broadly grouped based on their detection method as either sequencing-based or imaging-based, and often differ in their resolution, gene coverage, and sensitivity. As such, this presentation will provide a brief introduction and comparison between the different spatial transcriptomics methods and current best-practices for data analysis.
